Friday (September 18th) is School/Living History Day (LHD) where we offer multiple opportunities, listed below, to meet and participate in activities to deepen your appreciation for the way things were done nearly 158 years ago. Note that there are some special events planned for this 26th year of the Battle of Sacramento, including a special dramatic presentation of "Reflecting on the War", a well-documented one-act play written especially for this year! Full details are included in the Schedule of Living History Modules listed below. We encourage you to visit and participate as you are able. Seek experiences, ask questions, and take as many photos as you would like. You are welcome to visit the camps. (Please respect privacy. These tents are actually the reenactor's homes during the event.) Perhaps you would like to observe a surgeon at work or help raise a tent! Please post your photos and share on Facebook, Twitter and other social media. REMEMBER! Children & Senior Citizens just pay $5 on Friday ONLY.
